This week the children have been finding out about life as a refugee, and then writing based on their experiences. They have, shared refugee stories and books,
travelled in boats, interviewed an Aid worker in our own refugee camp and shared their prayers and wishes in our cardboard shelter. It has been a thought provoking and often emotional week. The children have approached this topic with empathy and incredible maturity, as well as producing some amazing writing. We even had a visit from the local press. Look out for us in The Northern Echo tomorrow or Monday.
