Welcome to another busy week in school.
Today is the start of Big Pedal fortnight which encourages children to come to school on their bikes or scooters. All children who do so will get a raffle ticket to win a prize each Friday.
This week is also Waste Week in school. We will be focusing on the recycling of plastic bottles as part of our Earth Keepers project.
On Tuesday 3rd some children from Years 5 and 6 will be attending a Dance Festival at Bishop Barrington School. They have been practising their Oompa Loompa dance and it’s looking good. Look out for photos!
Also on Tuesday, Year 6 will be praying the Stations of the Cross at St. Mary’s Church at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Finally on Tuesday, Bikeablity will be taking place in Year 5. This is on going training which teaches the children to ride their bikes and scooters safely.
On Thursday it is World Book Day. As usual, we will be dressing as book characters and having a fun day in school with lots of activities based around reading. Photos to follow!
FInally, on Friday Year 6 will be holding a Fair Trade Assembly as part of Fair Trade Friday and in the afternoon they will be visited by our Community Police Officer to discuss the role to the police.
