Today (Monday 29th February,) Amy from Bowes Museum visited to show us the finished quilt that Year 3 and Year 6 have been working on. It displayed squares made by 320 children, depicting places that are special to them in the North East. We were amazed by how impressive it looked!
The quilt will now be displayed in Bowes Museum, Barnard Castle and Year 3 and Year 6 families will be receiving free tickets to visit. We are hoping that we can work with Bowes Museum on projects in the future, to give all our children a chance to participate.
